I can honestly say that photography has been a lifelong passion of mine, from my very early childhood. The calling has never left me and as soon as I finished school, I pursued a career in photography.

Working for many years in photographic developing gave me the opportunity to meet and learn from so many photographers operating their own studios. I was able to surround myself with people who influenced and nurtured my dream career. 

 

​I met my husband Brad at work... me, the lab manager and him, the golf and sports photographer. It was a match made in heaven which inspired us to create our own photography business. We spent the next 20 years, capturing portraits and the love stories of wedding couples on the Gold Coast.

​

We now live in the picturesque High Country QLD, in a rural locality North of Toowoomba, Australia. In a thriving tourism region, our business here is Venus & Harley Design and provides our local tourism, hospitality & business community with Website Design, Graphic Design, Photography & Social Media services.

 

We absolutely love where we live and our property is home to the most beautiful birdlife & wildlife, that often make their appearance in our artworks.

​Photographic art was always something we leaned towards when it came to editing, combining the use of textured overlays, saturated colour & vibrance, developed our whimsical style of photographic art.

 

We use a collection of textured overlays which we photograph, that helps us create our textured style of photographic art.

We have always wanted to share our travel photography online, so here we are, to brighten up your favourite spaces.

Our collections are always growing and we update our gallery every week, with new and stunning fine art prints, canvas wall hangings and stationary. ​​
